RVA: A partnership between the City of Richmond and Venture Richmond (RVA) recently held a banner design contest. Local artist were invited to create images that comprise different elements of creative life in Richmond. Out of eight finalist, two of the four designs that I (MRM) submitted were selected and are currently hanging on several light poles around the Downtown business district and court buildings as public art.

LOGOS: Logo designs created for local business, bands, events and creative individuals.

The latest CD Release from Richmond based blues band THE BUSH LEAGUE. I proposed take the design in a different direction from the previous CD cover that was also created by MRM. The reaction to the cover art from their fans has been tremendously positive. And the accompanying prints with the artists' signatures have been selling well.

RATTLEMOUTH: Advertisment and logo design for the world jazz music group and RATTLEMOUTH based in Richmond, VA. They trusted MRM with the logo and designs which allowed for the freedom to use some appropriate images from my fine arts in the ads.

THE BUSH LEAGUE: Ads for their performances. The band hires MRM to create the designs for more than 95% of their marketing material.

RIVER CITY BLUES SOCIETY: For years I've been asked to create designs for the organization's events and marketing material.

FIRST FRIDAYS ART WALK: The brochure created for Curated Culture's 2010 season. Included in the design was artwork from local galleries and artist as well as a custom designed map with the locations of the venues highlighted for easy "on-the-fly" reading.

BYGONES: Magazine ad for a clothing store that specialized in vintage wear and classic fasions located in Carytown. They supplied a basic idea and imagry. This was the completed design.

VIRGINIA WINE COASTERS: Coasters for the organization were created for a state-wide marketing campaign through a client. The front to the coasters were already designed and they needed the other side completed with colors and "fun facts".

RICHMOND BIZ SENSE: Website advertisements for their clients to serve as interactive buttons.

VIRGINIA ASSOCIATION of MUSEUMS: Brochure design and display created for the organization to inhance their visual presence at conferences, meetings and other organizational gatherings.

PROMOTIONAL CONSIDERATIONS: Brochure design and display created for company's booth at a nationally recognized Trade Show.

FIRST FRIDAYS ART WALK: Membership brochure to assist the parent organization, Curated Culture in partnership with the DOWNTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION, in gaining membership from businesses, downtown organizations and individuals while expanding their visability to the public.

BLACK & WHITE: Designs produced for a local paper, a local jazz organization and a cd cover designed for a local musician.

CROSSROADS COFFEE & ICE CREAM: In-house ads marketing their "Happy Hour" for the Forest Hill Avenue location of Crossroads Coffee & Ice Cream.
